Job Summary

Thinking Maps, Inc. is seeking a creative and highly organized Marketing & Multimedia Associate to support the company’s marketing communications, digital content development, webinar execution, and event coordination. This role plays a key part in supporting our professional development and software platform serving K-12 schools across the United States.

This position is ideal for a creative professional who combines strong content development skills with excellent organization and project management abilities. The role supports marketing initiatives that help educators improve student thinking, learning, and communication through the Thinking Maps® methodology. Employment structure is flexible based on candidate experience. Full-time, part-time, or temporary-to-hire arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate marketing communications across sales, consulting, technology, and marketing teams to support campaigns, product initiatives, and professional development programs
  • Assist with internal updates and communications related to marketing initiatives, webinars, campaigns, and new content
  • Plan and execute company webinars and virtual events, including scheduling, registration setup, presenter coordination, and post-event follow-up
  • Create engaging marketing content such as social media graphics, short videos, email campaigns, blog posts, marketing collateral, alignments, and thought leadership materials
  • Support digital marketing initiatives including email campaigns, social media scheduling, website updates, and engagement tracking
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop marketing materials that support professional learning and product offerings
  • Assist with conference and event coordination, including registration logistics, marketing materials, and booth preparation
  • Ensure brand consistency and quality across all marketing and communications materials
  • Respond to ad-hoc marketing requests from leadership, sales, and consulting teams
  • Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously while maintaining organized timelines, workflows, and documentation

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, Education, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of marketing experience in content development, marketing operations, or campaign execution
  • Experience working in or supporting K-12 education organizations, education technology companies, or education-focused nonprofits strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting webinars, virtual events, or conference marketing preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for education and supporting schools in improving student outcomes.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
  • Experience managing email marketing platforms such as Zoho Campaigns, Mailchimp, or HubSpot
  • Experience coordinating webinars and virtual events
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Basic understanding of marketing analytics and engagement metrics

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Communication & Collaboration

  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills

  • Interest in education and improving student learning outcomes

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with the Zoho platform (Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Forms, or Zoho One ecosystem)
  • Experience working with educational products, curriculum, or professional learning programs
  • Familiarity with Thinking Maps or similar visual learning tools.
  • Strong data analysis skills, particularly in using data to inform decisions and strategies.
