Marketing Support Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Marketing Support Coordinator is an entry- to mid-level role that provides essential organizational and administrative support to the Fear Free marketing team. This position focuses on keeping the team efficient through task coordination, project tracking, metrics retrieval, list management, and basic digital marketing operations. The role includes creating and scheduling social media content, monitoring channels, triaging customer marketing inquiries, and assisting with simple designs and copy within established brand guidelines. The coordinator will collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing, marketing specialists, and graphic designers. Independent campaign design or execution is not required, but a proactive, collaborative spirit and willingness to share ideas are essential. This role offers hands-on experience and professional development in a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Organizational & Administrative Support:
Maintain organized, efficient marketing team operations and workflows through proactive coordination, tracking, and process optimization.
· Ensure smooth project flow and on-time delivery by maintaining accurate, real-time tracking of tasks and progress on our project management platform Monday.com.
· Identify and implement process improvements that enhance team communication, responsiveness, and overall efficiency.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date campaign metrics, email lists, and marketing databases to enable reliable reporting and informed decision-making.
· Provide prompt, professional handling of marketing-related inquiries (via Salesforce or the Marketing Request System), triaging, responding to, or escalating member, vendor, and customer requests (including online store questions) to uphold high standards of customer service.
· Other administrative and organizational tasks, as directed.
Social Media & Digital Support:
Deliver consistent, engaging social media presence and basic digital operations to strengthen Fear Free's brand visibility, foster audience connections, and support marketing initiatives.
· Create, schedule, and publish organic social media content across platforms using tools like Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud to maintain an active, professional, and on-brand online presence.
· Monitor channels for audience engagement (comments, messages, tags, Facebook communities) and respond promptly and professionally to build positive interactions and community loyalty.
· Support paid media efforts by monitoring campaign performance and assisting with basic KPI/ROI reporting to contribute to informed optimizations.
· Build event registration pages and landing pages within internal platforms as directed to enable smooth attendee sign-ups and campaign execution.
· Other digital content creation or social media support duties, as assigned.
Content & Design Assistance:
Support consistent, high-quality content and digital assets to reinforce Fear Free's brand voice, enable effective communication, and facilitate successful educational initiatives.
· Draft simple, on-brand copy for social media posts, emails, and other foundational content needs to maintain consistent messaging and audience engagement.
· Coordinate webinar logistics with education and growth teams, including scheduling, promotion, and basic hosting (which may require occasional availability outside standard business hours) to ensure smooth delivery and participation.
· Prepare webinar recordings for editing in line with established SOP timelines to support timely post-production and content reuse.
· Other content and design assistance, as directed.
Event & General Support:
Contribute to effective event execution and team awareness of industry trends to support Fear Free's outreach efforts and informed decision-making.
· Assist with trade show preparation and organization as requested by marketing, education, and growth teams (e.g., coordinating materials, registration, or shipping) to help ensure events align with brand standards and proceed smoothly.
· Assist with collection and organization of post-event data (leads, attendee feedback, ROI) in collaboration with sales and marketing teams to support accurate reporting and future strategy improvements.
· Stay current on marketing and social media best practices, trends, and emerging insights, sharing relevant findings with the team to keep initiatives fresh and competitive.
· Perform various other administrative and tactical tasks as assigned to maintain department flexibility and achieve overall goals.
· Other general team support tasks, as directed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred; an Associate’s degree with significant relevant experience will be considered.
· 1–2 years of experience in marketing support, administrative coordination, digital marketing, or social media management; entry-level candidates with strong internships, freelance work, or transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
· Proficiency with project management tools such as Monday.com (or similar platforms like Asana, Trello, ClickUp).
· Strong experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or equivalent).
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
· Superior written and verbal communication skills.
· Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, or InDesign for simple assets).
· Comfort working remotely with reliable self-motivation, time management, and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Teams).
Must have a stable, high-speed internet connection capable of handling video conferencing and cloud-based tools.

· Familiarity with creating simple landing/registration pages in marketing platforms.
· Basic knowledge of paid social media monitoring or analytics tools.
· Positive and proactive approach to problem solving and achieving goals.
· Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and contribute to a supportive team environment.
· Previous remote work experience.
· Passion for animal welfare or the pet industry is a plus, but professional marketing/administrative experience is prioritized.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be Able To:
· Remain in a stationary position for an extended period while operating a computer.
· Position themselves to install tech equipment, including under desks.
· Move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
· Participate in virtual and/or in-person meetings.
