Position: Marketplace Operations Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Marketplace Operations Manager to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL. This individual will be responsible for overseeing operational excellence across multiple marketplace functions, driving efficiency, and enabling growth through process optimization. Acting as a key problem solver and cross-functional partner, this role will play a critical part in ensuring smooth order fulfillment, marketplace support, and cost management initiatives. The Manager will oversee a small team of employees, collaborate closely with brand General Managers and department leads, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and initiative are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

E-Commerce Fulfillment System Oversight

• Manage the platform that connects various Growve e-commerce marketplace channels to fulfillment providers for efficient order flow.
• Develop and maintain rule-based logic to optimize order routing, reduce out-of-stocks, and minimize shipping costs.
• Ensure SKU data accuracy, organization, and system integrity to support key sales channels.

Marketplace Logistics Support

• Provide operational support to e-commerce marketplace channels in partnership with the sales team.
• Map SKUs into marketplace platforms and ensure compliance with shipping policies and settings.
• Serve as the go-to resource for operational projects supporting marketplace expansion.

Marketplace Cost Management & Strategic Projects

• Support initiatives focused on reducing shipping and fulfillment costs across marketplaces.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Logistics teams to identify cost-saving strategies, including pallet consolidation, dimension data optimization, and carrier partnerships.
• Build scalable processes for ongoing cost management and performance tracking.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Oversee and develop a small team of employees executing day-to-day marketplace operations.
• Collaborate closely with department leads and brand GMs to identify, prioritize, and execute projects.
• Act as a “fix-it” leader—proactively spinning up projects, solving complex problems, and driving cross-functional alignment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in marketplace operations, supply chain, logistics, or related areas, with a history of people management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working in rule-based systems and data-driven environments.
• Experience with SKU data, inventory systems, or fulfillment platforms (OrderDesk experience a plus).
• Proven track record of managing cost optimization initiatives in logistics, shipping, or fulfillment.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across functions and geographies.
• Self-starter mentality, comfortable with ambiguity and capable of driving projects from concept to execution.
