Job Summary

Al Marwan Developments is looking for a skilled and reliable Mason with experience in real estate construction projects. The role involves carrying out masonry work for residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship, compliance with project specifications, and timely completion. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, experienced in a variety of masonry techniques, and able to work effectively within a construction team.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the Mason include, but are not limited to:

• Perform masonry work for residential and commercial construction projects, including brickwork, blockwork, plastering, and stonework.

• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.

• Mix, measure, and prepare mortar, cement, and other construction materials.

• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of masonry structures.

• Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.

• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Report any issues, discrepancies, or defective materials to supervisors promptly.

• Assist in training junior masons or helpers, if required.

• Perform additional tasks as required to support construction operations and project deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in masonry work within the real estate or construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of brickwork, blockwork, plastering, and finishing techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.

• Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials and tools.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Knowledge of safety practices and ability to follow site safety regulations.

• UAE experience preferred.

• Basic communication skills in English or Arabic are an advantage.
