About Your Team

Our team is committed to ensuring seamless material management and operational efficiency across every project site. Guided by ALEC’s safety and quality standards, we focus on accurate inventory control, timely material delivery, and proactive coordination with site teams. Through meticulous planning, compliance, and collaboration, we help projects stay on schedule while optimizing costs, creating a foundation for success.

Your Role

As a Material Controller, you will

• S&F inventory, Project yard stock account, maintain accurate stock balance and keeping delivery & return updates with considering damage, lost at site with approved documents.
• ALEC Safety standards to be maintained on all S & F repair / refurb activities with required site CRM permits & approvals.
• DSTI submission/weekly tools box talk/monthly tools inspection/ documents submission to Safety.
• Ensure daily yard activity (S&F) with all safety rules about storage & stacking /refurb/ loading & unloading works at yard.
• Formwork, Aluminum & Cuplock material delivery arrangements with DIC Stock yard as per approved FRF /SRF/ASRF.
• Internal & External Hire material delivery follow-up & mat. Returns. Data entry /filing documentation as per date by date wise.
• Coordinate with site S & F execution team to get plan of material requirements in advance & communicate with yard team. Material procure/delivery lead time to be maintained.
• Try to minimize the external hire of material by monitoring S & F material utilization timeously with site execution team to reduce cost to project.
• Filing documents of all activities @ Yard (including test reports/time sheets for plant & equipment)
• Weekly yard stock reports sending to S & F -main store.
• S &F BMS / Material damage notes / Delivery & Return Documents to be cross verified with site Engineer/Manager and get necessary approvals if required to maintain accurate account.
• Minor Refurbishment works & QA/QC check to be carried out in project yard premises as per site requirements & Major repairing items to be send back to DIC -S&F workshop for further rectification/repairs.
• Random check on scaffolding and Formwork components used in ALEC Projects and ensure all scaffolding components are in good usable condition to standards in accordance to BS2482-2009; BS1139; BS1139-2; BSEN74-2005; BS5975:2008.
• Erected idle wall & Slab supports & access scaffolding on site to be monitored and inform to concerned site operation team.
• Co-ordination with logistic team for entry & exit passes, internal requestion submission for plant & machinery requirement in advance for on-time material movement. (Delivery & Returns)
• Very close co-ordination with site team for on time material delivery & support to achieve accelerated scheduled program at site.
• Honest and Sincere with high level of integrity.
• Hardworking and showing leadership and coaching skills with proactive approach.
• Act in line with the ALEC Values and behaviors.

• GCC experience in construction or industrial projects.
• Expertise in scaffolding and formwork systems.
• Knowledge of ALEC safety standards and compliance.
• Ability to coordinate deliveries, returns, and yard activities efficiently.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Proactive, honest, and cost-conscious with leadership qualities.
