Job Purpose:
The MRP Specialist is responsible for managing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes to ensure the availability of raw materials, components, and packaging needed to support the production plan. The role ensures supply continuity, minimizes inventory risks, and supports cost-efficient operations through effective planning and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities:

Run and monitor MRP processes to generate purchase and production requirements.

Review MRP outputs and convert requirements into purchase requisitions or production orders.

Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and production teams to secure material availability.

Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock while achieving inventory targets.

Analyze demand forecasts, safety stocks, and lead times to ensure accurate planning.

Support Supply Planning Manager in developing short-term and mid-term supply plans.

Follow up on delivery schedules, resolve supply issues, and escalate risks proactively.

Maintain accurate master data in the planning system (lead times, minimum order quantities, safety stock levels).

Provide regular reports on material status, shortages, and key planning KPIs.

Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) or supply review meetings as required.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in supply chain planning, material planning, or production planning.

Strong knowledge of MRP systems and ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

Good understanding of supply chain concepts: demand planning, inventory management, lead times.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.

Strong communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).
