Materials Coordinator – Kernersville Medical Center
Kernersville Medical Center is seeking a Materials Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Operations team. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to departments across the hospital, ensuring they have the supplies and support needed to deliver excellent patient care. You will be part of a small, dedicated team, working closely with both team members and leaders to keep operations running smoothly.
What you’ll do:
Deliver clean linen to departments
Order and receive supplies
Keep supply areas organized and well-stocked
Monitor par levels to prevent shortages
Audit and remove expired goods

Able to lift up to 35 lbs and move objects weighing 21–50 lbs
Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks (pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, stooping)
Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software
Highly Preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience using pallet jacks, dock boards, and hand trucks

Education
High School Diploma or GED, required
Experience
Experience in a healthcare setting, preferred
Experience in inventory, logistics, or related functions, preferred
Required Skills
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, and stooping
Good visual acuity and manual dexterity
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and move objects weighing 21–50 lbs
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
Ability to enter data for extended periods using repetitive hand movements
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory control software
