We are currently recruiting for an Materials Planning Controller for our client to be based out of their Dubai office.


Job Purpose :

This role requires a highly organized and skilled individual to manage materials support and planning within an aircraft/engine maintenance environment, ensuring operational readiness and efficient material flow.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day workload and deliverables for assigned team members.
  • Ensure technical kitting is performed correctly, and ERP dashboard/share drive status is updated, including kit contents, status, location, shipping details, and tracking numbers.
  • Perform and ensure kitting accuracies and readiness for engine and module builds per original configurations, highlighting any discrepancies.
  • Ensure parts are at the correct revision level and comply with Conformity and PMA part requirements.
  • Communicate and follow up with internal shops (Receiving, Production, In-house Repair) to ensure material readiness for roll dates and operational support.
  • Maintain proper certification paperwork with parts throughout the kitting process.
  • Review all materials prior to production roll for correct SB/AD/MOD status and correct PN and SN for installation, and ensure all swapping parts and modules meet requirements (TSN/CSN, TSO/CSO, BTB) with correct and approved documentation.
  • Execute assigned Continuous Improvement Projects.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, OR Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License with a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant roles.
  • Experience: 7+ years of industry experience, with at least 3 years in Materials Support, Aircraft/Engine Technical Planning, or an equivalent role.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of logistics/supply in an aircraft/engine maintenance environment, thorough understanding of OEM guidelines, Airworthiness regulations, and industry standards.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Technical Documentation Review and Understanding, experience with ERP systems (IFS or similar), and experience analyzing maintenance data to deliver management insights.
