M&E Procurement Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical & Electrical Procurement Engineer

We are currently seeking a M&E Procurement Engineer with proven UAE experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage and execute electrical works on-site with efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for mechanical and electrical materials and equipment.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to determine procurement requirements.
• Prepare and issue inquiries, obtain quotations, and conduct technical and commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and site teams to ensure timely material delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Support cost control and value engineering initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement within the construction, MEP, or contracting industry.
• Strong knowledge of MEP materials, systems, and suppliers.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and MS Office tools.
