MEAL Assistant

RS Welfare Foundation, with the support of its donors, is initiating emergency flood relief operations to support affected communities in Tehsil Zafarwal UC Darman. The project aims to provide immediate relief assistance, including food, shelter, health support, and other essential services, to flood-affected populations.

To ensure transparency, accountability, and learning throughout the relief operations, RS Welfare Foundation seeks to hire a MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Accountability & Learning) Assistant. The position will support the Project Manager in monitoring progress, assessing impact, and ensuring compliance with donor and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools.
• Collect, compile, and analyze data related to relief distributions and activities.
• Conduct field visits to verify implementation quality and beneficiary satisfaction.
• Document lessons learned, best practices, and case studies.
• Support in developing weekly and monthly MEAL reports.
• Ensure community feedback and grievance mechanisms are in place.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with donor and RS Welfare Foundation standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, or relevant field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in MEAL, preferably in emergency/humanitarian projects.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of data collection and analysis tools.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Project Manager and coordinates closely with field teams.
