What role you will play in our team

• Commission, Maintain and repair/replace company owned and operated Measurement equipment.
• Periodically witness 3rd party purchasers perform routine maintenance on custody transfer measurement points.
• Carlsbad, NM

What you will do

• Witnesses required dynamic measurement activities with 3rd party purchaser companies and documenting the witness in appropriate systems.
• Performs scheduled meter activities and samplings of company operated measurement systems and documenting all activities in appropriate system(s).
• Ensures that all appropriate API standards and internal standards are upheld when applicable
• Maintains and repairs all instrumentation on operated metering systems
• Responds to inquiries regarding beta ratios, meter factors, gravity determinations, meter calibration data entry and other tests
• Performs sampling to determine gravity and BTU factors per contractual obligations
• Programs, troubleshoots, and maintains electronic flow measurement equipment and associated end devices; demonstrates computer literacy and the ability to utilize basic programs
• Practices awareness concerning issues of health, safety, and the environment; cooperates with emergency teams to anticipate and deal with any hazardous and/or unusual situations.

About You

• Ability to commission, maintain and repair replace measurement equipment associated determining quantity and quality of produced of oil and gas
• Accurately perform data entry in multiple systems
• Must be a team player, work well with others
• Must be able to communicate effectively across the team and other group
• Must be comfortable working alone in a remote field
• Must be proficient with a computer and phone apps
• Demonstrate ability to perform all duties and responsibilities with minimal direct supervision
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders and stairways

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Relevant oil field work experience (maintenance, construction, operations)
