Mechanic Technician

Mechanic Duties

• Perform maintenance and repairs of diesel engines in vehicles
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical problems
• Diagnose and fix malfunctions
• Test parts and systems
• Perform regular maintenance
• Follow safety instructions and regulations

Diesel Mechanic Requirements

• A diesel mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of diesel engines and other engine systems.
• They must have a strong understanding of mechanical concepts, be familiar with the use of hand tools, and be able to diagnose and repair problems in a timely manner.
• The mechanic is also responsible for performing safety inspections on vehicles and providing preventive maintenance as needed.
• Other duties may include cleaning and replacing filters, changing oil, and replacing or repairing parts such as brakes, transmissions, and engines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
