The ideal
candidate
will be reporting to Mechanical Engineering Team Leader.
Responsibilities:

Support the mechanical design and development activities of multimedia components (e.g., display units, control panels, infotainment housings) in close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.

Analyze and interpret client technical requirements in collaboration with the client interface team; define the mechanical roadmap accordingly.

Follow the full mechanical lifecycle: concept development, 3D design, validation, prototyping, and release to manufacturing.

Conduct / Support in CAE simulations including thermal, vibrational, and structural analysis using tools such as ANSYS or equivalent.

Prepare CAD models created in NX Siemens or CATIA; ensure design feasibility, DFM/DFA, and compliance with automotive standards.

Perform design review preparations and documentations, DFMEA, and issue resolution meetings; track open points and ensure closure through structured follow-up.

Interface with suppliers, production teams, and cross-functional departments to ensure manufacturability and robustness of mechanical designs.

Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement of design practices, documentation, and toolsets.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or a closely related field (e.g., Automotive Engineering).

Minimum
3+ years
of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in the
automotive
sector.

Proven experience in mechanical development of
automotive multimedia systems
is a strong plus.

Proficiency in 3D CAD (NX Siemens or CATIA) and ability to review and optimize complex assemblies.

Basic knowledge of CAE tools (ANSYS or equivalent) for structural, thermal, and vibrational analysis.

Familiarity with injection molding, die casting, thermal management, and integrated manufacturing processes.

Deep understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, material selection, and plastic part design principles.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to coordinate and lead activities among internal and external stakeholders across multiple locations.

Ownership mindset and capability to drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.

Turkish&English – Full professional proficiency (Mandatory). Additional language such as Italian, or Chinese is a plus.
