Mechanical Design Engineer

• Create 2D and 3D mechanical designs and drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Develop detailed design documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), assembly drawings, and fabrication details.
• Collaborate with the production, purchase, and quality departments for design implementation and improvement.
• Modify existing designs to improve efficiency, cost, or functionality.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory and safety standards applicable to the product.
• Conduct tolerance analysis, material selection, and cost estimation for mechanical components.
• Provide technical support during prototype development and product testing.
• Maintain organized records of design versions, revisions, and engineering change requests.
• Participate in design review meetings and present concepts to cross-functional teams.
