Mechanical Design Engineer

Oxypro Electromechanical Contractors is looking for Mechanical Design Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities :

-Review and verify IFC/Tender drawings for HVAC and Plumbing systems.

-Manage and provide technical directions to the drafting team for accurate and timely preparation of shop drawings.

-Coordinate with the remote BIM team and in-house CAD team for drawing development and clash-free coordination.

-Use Revit and Navisworks to review 3D models, detect clashes, and ensure compliance with design intent.

-Prepare or modify design calculations, layouts, and schematics for Design & Build projects.

-Liaise with project managers, consultants, and site teams to resolve design and coordination issues.

-Ensure all drawings and designs comply with project specifications and authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, DCD, DEWA, etc.).

Provide technical support during project execution

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

* 4-8 years of experience in MEP contracting (UAE experience preferred).

* Strong knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing design principles and authority standards.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks (for design and coordination review).

* Experience managing BIM and CAD drafting teams.

* Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
