Mechanical Design Engineer

We are a product development company based in Islamabad with correspondence from Germany.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer who will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and documentation of mechanical components and assemblies. The role requires hands-on involvement in CAD modeling, basic engineering calculations, design validation and coordination with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor or equivalent).
• Assist in product design and development from concept through prototyping and production.
• Perform basic mechanical calculations related to strength, tolerances, fits, and material selection.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Support prototype development, testing, and design iterations based on feedback.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and cost efficiency.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering standards and company guidelines.
• Participate in design reviews and implement corrective actions as required.
• Maintain proper version control and documentation of design changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Approximately 1 year of hands-on experience in mechanical design engineering role.
• Proficiency in CAD tool (SolidWorks preferred).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, welding, injection molding).
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, GD&T fundamentals, and BOM preparation.
• Working knowledge of materials, fasteners and mechanical components.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
