Mechanical Draftsman – AutoCAD (Crushers)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Mechanical Draftsman with a strong background in AutoCAD and mechanical detailing for crusher and heavy machinery applications. The candidate should be able to produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings, assembly layouts, and fabrication details used for manufacturing and installation of crushing and screening plants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD for crushers, conveyors, screens, and related machinery.
• Create fabrication, assembly, and layout drawings with precise measurements and tolerances.
• Revise and update existing drawings as per engineering changes.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers and production teams to ensure designs meet technical requirements.
• Support in site layout preparation for crusher installations.
• Maintain drawing databases and ensure all documentation follows company standards.
• Liaise with procurement and suppliers for component and material references.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman, preferably in the crusher, mining, or heavy machinery industry.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) — mandatory.
• Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies, welding symbols, and material specifications.
• Experience in crusher plant layouts, fabrication drawings, and modification work.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with site measurement and equipment integration drawings.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
