Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining mechanical systems and production machinery in the manufacturing facility. This role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing downtime, ensuring safety, and supporting continuous improvement of production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for mechanical failures.
• Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve machine efficiency and product output.
• Develop technical documentation, drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO and safety regulations.
• Recommend upgrades, modifications, or replacement of machinery to improve productivity.
• Supervise equipment installation, commissioning, and testing during new projects.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement for timely availability.
• Support energy efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives in manufacturing operations.
• Train and guide technicians and operators on equipment use and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, production equipment, and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and workplace safety standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
