We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to become part of our dynamic team. - Develop mechanical designs and engineering specifications for high-rise and complex building projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with structural, electrical, and architectural engineers to deliver coordinated and integrated design solutions.
- Prepare and evaluate technical drawings, calculations, and documentation, identifying and resolving discrepancies as they arise.
- Supervise site implementation of mechanical systems, monitoring quality, safety, and adherence to HSE regulations at every stage.
- Conduct equipment and system selections, prepare technical submittals, and interface with suppliers and contractors as needed.
- Participate in value engineering reviews to optimise mechanical design solutions for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute to technical progress reports and present updates to project managers and clients on a regular basis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- 3–7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within engineering consultancy or high-rise building projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, or similar mechanical engineering tools).
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, CIBSE, NFPA, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously and in teams.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
