Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

· Design and implement fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards.

· Conduct site inspections to assess existing fire safety measures and recommend enhancements.

· Prepare detailed project documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports for firefighting installations.

· Collaborate closely with architects and contractors to integrate fire safety solutions into building designs.

· Oversee the installation and commissioning of fire alarm and suppression systems, ensuring all work meets quality standards.

· Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that firefighting projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.

· Conduct regular training sessions for site personnel on fire safety practices and equipment usage.

· Perform risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards and develop mitigation strategies.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to fire safety.

· Act as the primary point of contact for fire safety inspections and audits by regulatory authorities.

· Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in firefighting system design and implementation.

· Experience working on large-scale construction projects, especially in commercial or industrial sectors.

· Strong knowledge of fire safety codes and standards.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams.

· Proactive problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and safety.

· Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
