Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing systems for building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating mechanical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute HVAC and plumbing installation works at project sites.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all HVAC systems (ducting, chilled water pipes, FCU, AHU, ventilation) are installed according to approved drawings and standards.
• Monitor plumbing works including water supply, drainage, sewage, and stormwater systems.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with UAE local authority regulations (DM, DEWA, Civil Defense) where applicable.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation related to mechanical works.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover of HVAC and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing works in building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC equipment, and plumbing installation.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and technical documents.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations is an advantage.
