Mechanical Engineer (HVAC & Plumbing)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in HVAC and Plumbing systems to join our building contracting team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for design coordination, site execution, and ensuring project compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate HVAC and Plumbing works at site
• Review and implement approved shop drawings and material submittals
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and UAE authority requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams
• Monitor work progress, quality, and safety standards
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover activities
• Prepare technical reports and site documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in HVAC and Plumbing systems
• Must be currently available in the UAE
• Experience in building contracting or construction companies preferred
• Strong knowledge of UAE standards and authority approvals (DM, DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage site activities and meet project deadlines
