About Us

XYZ Designers is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy delivering innovative design and supervision services across the UAE. We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer / Inspector to join our site supervision team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections for mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, etc.) to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Review and comment on mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Civil Defence, RAK authorities, etc.).
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to schedules.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records of site activities.
• Coordinate with contractors and other disciplines to resolve site issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of site experience in mechanical supervision/inspection within consultancy or contracting firms.
• Successfully completed at least two full construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and standards (Dubai Civil Defence, RAK Municipality, etc.).
• Ability to review technical documentation, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• UAE-based; immediate/short notice joining preferred.
