Mechanical Engineer - Structure & Fabrication

Job description.

S. Zia-Ul-Haq & Sons (Pvt). Ltd is looking for an Mechanical Engineer - Structure & Fabrication.

Role & Responsibilities:

•  Supervise and execute structural steel and fabrication works at site/workshop.
•  Review and interpret fabrication, structural, and shop drawings.
•  Coordinate with design/engineering teams for technical clarifications.
•  Ensure fabrication activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
•  Monitor welding, cutting, fitting, and erection activities.
•  Ensure quality control and inspection of fabricated items.
•  Coordinate with procurement for steel, plates, pipes, and fabrication materials.
•  Prepare work plans, daily progress reports, and material consumption reports.
•  Ensure compliance with HSE rules and site safety procedures.
•  Support project timelines and resolve site-related technical issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

•  Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
•  3–4 years of relevant experience in structure and fabrication works.
•  Strong knowledge of structural steel, fabrication processes, and erection methods.
•  Familiarity with welding techniques, WPS, and basic inspection practices.
•  Ability to read and understand structural/fabrication drawings.
•   Good communication and coordination skills.
•  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience: 4- 5 years of relevant experience.

Location: Gadap Town Behind Baqai Medical University | Super Highway | Karachi - Pakistan.
