Mechanical Engineer | Tamheer

Job Objective:

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer Trainee to join our Maintenance Department under Tamheer Program. This role offers hands-on experience in retail maintenance operations, supporting day-to-day engineering activities across stores, warehouses, and facilities within a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical systems across retail stores and facilities.
• Support maintenance engineers in inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment such as HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and store machinery.
• Help monitor equipment performance and report technical issues or breakdowns.
• Assist in preparing maintenance reports, logs, and technical documentation.
• Support spare parts tracking and coordination with suppliers and maintenance stores.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and company policies.
• Participate in site visits, store inspections, and maintenance projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering .
• Strong interest in maintenance operations within the retail industry.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
