About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Mechanical Engineer – Testing & Commissioning/ QA-QC to join our growing commissioning team. This role is suited for engineers with strong hands-on experience in mechanical testing, commissioning, inspection, troubleshooting, and performance verification of building services systems.

The successful candidate will be involved in mission-critical and large-scale commercial projects, supporting all phases of testing, commissioning, integrated system verification, and client handover activities. This is a fast-paced project environment requiring engineers who can work independently, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage commissioning activities under demanding project schedules.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare, review, and update Commissioning Plans and Procedures.
• Review Method Statements and ensure testing procedures are technically sound and correctly implemented.
• Prepare and maintain Site Observation Reports (SORs).
• Prepare, update, and close Commissioning Activity Sheets (CAS).
• Maintain testing records, commissioning dossiers, and project documentation.
• Review test results and identify deficiencies requiring corrective action.
• Monitor completion of punch list and snagging items.
• Coordinate witness testing with consultants, clients, and authorities.

Coordination & Technical Support

• Participate in client, consultant, contractor, and project progress meetings.
• Present commissioning status, risks, technical issues, and proposed solutions.
• Support troubleshooting and fault-finding activities during project execution.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, TAB, BMS, and commissioning teams.
• Support project handover and closeout activities.
• Assist in preparation of commissioning schedules and resource planning.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required).
• Degree must be a minimum 4-year engineering degree.
• UAE MOFA Attested Degree is Mandatory.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Proven experience commissioning mechanical building services systems.
• Experience on large commercial, hospitality, healthcare, airport, data centre, industrial, mission-critical, or mixed-use developments is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, CIBSE, DW144, and relevant international commissioning standards.
