With some of our exciting launches such as Burj Azizi (the second tallest tower in the world), Monaco Mansions and Azizi Venice – Dubai’s new luxurious Venetian-Inspired Waterfront community, we are rapidly expanding our onsite Supervision team based at (Dubai).


As a Mechanical Inspector reporting into the Mechanical Manager, your role ole involves both inspection and the supervision of mechanical works on the project. Checks and examines mechanical activities, as the case may be, using engineering skills to determine structural soundness and compliance with specifications, building codes, and other regulations. Inspections may be general in nature or may be limited to a specific area and to be conducted against approved shop drawings, materials, etc.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that execution of construction activities is as per the drawings and that all construction projects meet project specifications.
  • Oversee the completion of all integrated mechanical site works and verify that works are executed on time and within budget and project guidelines
  • Follow up the progress of construction work based on reports of the engineers and propose and order corrective action to keep project on target.
  • Ensure that contractor’s organization of the relevant construction equipment and materials required at the work site to ensure that the construction activity can be carried smoothly.
  • Oversee all construction activities to ensure that they are carried out in line with the Project’s quality policies, procedures, standards and agreed method statements.
  • Execute any other tasks that may be directed by superior
  • Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering site activity so that all relevant procedural / authority requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality cost-effective product to client.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls for site activities to guarantee employee safety, governmental compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
  • Experience in piling works, inspection of post tension suspended slabs, precast walls, structural steel works.
  • Demonstrate strong structural analysis knowledge.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s or University degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferable.


Qualification:

  • Min: 5-10 +years of Construction site experience for Diploma Holders, 5+ years for BSc Degree Holders
