MEP Tendering Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled MEP Tendering Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting technical and commercial bids for MEP projects. The role involves reviewing project specifications, assessing costs, coordinating with the design and procurement teams, and ensuring that all bids meet the company’s requirements and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements to prepare accurate and competitive tenders for MEP works.
• Coordinate with the design team to ensure technical proposals align with the specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates and take-off quantities for MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Submit complete and well-documented tenders to clients.
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing for materials and services.
• Ensure timely submission of all tender documents in line with deadlines.
• Analyze competitor bids and prepare pricing strategies.
• Coordinate with the project team for post-tender clarifications or revisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP tendering or related roles.
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Strong understanding of estimating and cost control.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
