Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying

Experience: Minimum 2 years (UAE experience preferred)

Role Overview

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, budgeting, and commercial coordination for waterproofing and flooring projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs based on drawings and specifications

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and material forecasts

• Monitor project costs and support cost control activities

• Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier comparisons

• Assist in interim valuations, variations, and final accounts

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement team

• Maintain accurate project cost records and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying

• Minimum 2 years of QS experience in the UAE construction industry

• Experience in waterproofing and flooring works is an advantage

• Strong understanding of drawings, BOQs, and rate analysis

• Proficient in MS Excel and quantity surveying tools

• Good analytical and coordination skills
