Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with strong exposure to high-rise building projects to manage and coordinate mechanical works including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Drainage systems, ensuring timely execution in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor mechanical works for high-rise projects in line with project schedule and budget.
• Supervise installation of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Drainage, and Water Supply systems.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractor, subcontractors, and other disciplines (Civil/Electrical).
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, authority regulations, and safety standards.
• Attend technical meetings and resolve site-related mechanical coordination issues.
• Monitor site progress and report delays or risks to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Support QA/QC documentation, inspections, and handover processes.
• Assist in as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and project close-out documentation.
• Implement value engineering proposals where applicable.
