Mechanical Supervisor

A Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor with 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance is required. The candidate should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification, along with strong technical experience. The role involves leading a team of fitters, welders, and helpers to ensure that all mechanical work inside an oil refinery or chemical plant is carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily work of fitters, welders, and helpers
• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance
• Maintain and repair all types of pumps (centrifugal, vacuum, gear, booster, etc.), motors, boilers, compressors, chillers, gearboxes, blowers, valves, and other plant equipment
• Manage spare parts inventory and request reorders when needed
• Ensure all tools, lifting equipment, and forklifts are in good working condition
• Maintain daily maintenance logbooks and prepare monthly reports
• Follow all safety procedures and the work permit system
• Support plant shutdowns, small project works, and team training initiatives

Skills Required:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience
• Good leadership and team management abilities
• Basic computer skills (email, Excel, report preparation, etc.)
• SAP knowledge is an added advantage
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
