Mechanical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, plan, and coordinate daily mechanical activities (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, and equipment installation).
• Monitor and manage technicians and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and method statements before execution.
• Ensure implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare daily progress reports and submit to project management.
• Liaise with engineers, contractors, and clients for smooth project execution.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials required for mechanical works.
• Train and guide junior staff and technicians.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Excellent leadership and team supervision skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Good knowledge of UAE construction standards and safety regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and report preparation.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Experience:

• 7 years of work experience in the UAE as a Mechanical Supervisor in construction/MEP/industrial projects.
• Hands-on experience in site supervision, installation, testing & commissioning, and maintenance works.
