Mechanical Technical Engineer

Role Objective

The Mechanical Technical Engineer will provide essential technical support, prepare detailed shop drawings, and ensure that all mechanical systems are implemented according to project specifications, budget, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Documentation: Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals using AutoCAD (and Revit/SolidWorks where applicable).
• Engineering Support: Provide technical solutions for onsite mechanical issues and ensure compliance with engineering codes.
• Quantity Surveying: Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs.
• Coordination: Act as a technical liaison between the design office, project management, and site execution teams.
• Quality Control: Inspect mechanical installations (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, or Machinery) to ensure they meet quality and safety benchmarks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in a technical office or site engineering role in UAE.
• Software Proficiency: Expert level in AutoCAD. Proficiency in BIM/Revit or SolidWorks is a strong plus.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, or manufacturing processes depending on the industry).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
