Job Description

Industries Qatar is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to support maintenance and operations in industrial plants. In this role, you will ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely within petrochemical or manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in plant machinery
• Conduct inspections and ensure equipment reliability
• Maintain maintenance records and reports
• Follow safety and operational procedures
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in industrial, petrochemical, or manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
• Knowledge of safety standards and plant operations
• Ability to work in shift-based environments

Work Hours

Typical shifts may include:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Rotational schedule including weekends and holidays.

Compensation & Hourly Pay (Qatar)

Estimated Monthly Salary: QAR 8,000 – QAR 12,000
Estimated Hourly Pay: QAR 45 – QAR 70/hour

Additional allowances may apply for shift work.
