We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Media Buyer experienced in OOH (Out-of-Home), BTL, and ATL advertising. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, negotiating, and purchasing media space and time to ensure maximum visibility and ROI for our clients.
This role requires strong vendor relations, analytical thinking, and the ability to execute multi-channel campaigns efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Media Planning & Buying
Plan, negotiate, and buy OOH, ATL, and BTL media as per client objectives and budgets.
Source, evaluate, and finalize media vendors — including hoardings, transit media, mall branding, cinema, radio, and print.
Negotiate the best possible rates and placements to maximize campaign impact.
Ensure all media bookings, releases, and approvals are executed on time.
Conduct site inspections and ensure media placements are as per plan and quality standards.
Campaign Management
Coordinate with internal teams (account servicing, creative, and operations) to align campaign execution.
Track and monitor campaign performance; provide post-buy analysis and reports.
Handle vendor billing, documentation, and payment processes accurately.
Stay updated on new advertising opportunities and market developments.
Vendor & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with media owners, suppliers, and partners.
Maintain a comprehensive database of media properties, vendor contacts, and rate cards.
Evaluate vendor performance regularly and onboard new partners as needed.
Required Skills & Competencies
Proven experience in media buying (OOH / ATL / BTL).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Strong knowledge of OOH formats, print media, radio, cinema, and experiential marketing.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and media planning tools.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in media buying or media planning (OOH / ATL / BTL preferred).
Experience working in or with advertising agencies, media vendors, or marketing departments.
