KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in development and implementation of strategic milestones, business plan and business targets.

Ensure achievement of Department targets thus contributing to overall organizational performance.

Champion the development of Sales Department policies and procedures as well as drive initiatives targeted to overall unit effectiveness increase.

Launch & manage the ELAN Media Digital Out of Home network.

Oversee identification of potential customers and develop strategies to approach them.
-
Oversee overall sales activities to the potential customers and monitor that individual sales targets are met.
-
Personally lead sales to key clients to ensure they become ELAN clients.
-
Oversee preparation of proposals for the potential clients ensuring that terms and conditions/ pricing are in line with the approved guidelines. Review personally non-standard agreements.

Ensure that agreements with the clients are prepared on time and the delivery of services is commenced only after the formal agreements are completed.

Drive up-selling initiatives to maximize value of the existing clients.
Operational:

Incorporate marketing effort into sales activities liaising with Corporate Communications Department.

Ensure that relationships with existing clients are well managed and any issues are resolved on a timely manner.

Manage overall customer satisfaction and lead development of customer satisfaction related activities.

Initiate and oversee implementation of customer loyalty strengthening programmes to ensure that clients are willing to continue business relationship with ELAN.

Oversee preparation and submissions of reports on the Sales Department performance.
-
Provide Market Research Manager with any relevant client and market feedback pertaining to operations and competitive position.
-
Ensure that CRM database meets Sales Department needs.
-
Oversee that CRM database is well maintained and updated by the Sales team.
-
Represents Company in conferences and venues to build business relationships and promote ELAN.
-
Ensure implementation of any standards and policies as imposed by the Organization.
-
Liaise with business support functions (Finance, HR, IT and other) to ensure that all the required support services are provided on time and of the required level of quality.

Perform any other work related duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer - Media.

Ensure Digital Out of Home network is fully operational

Campaigns are delivered

Manage Concession relationships with the Malls

Attend Monthly Concession Meetings and provide Monthly Concession Reports for the Mall Network

Ensure effective communication of corporate information to employees within the department including relevant policies and procedures.
-
Ensure compliance with the performance management process and its linkages to learning and development, compensation, promotion, career development and succession planning. This is done in full collaboration with the HR function.

Coach and mentor direct subordinates to develop their skills and ensure continuous people development.
Job Qualifications/Experience Skills.
-
Degree in Economic, Business Administration or related discipline.
-
Post graduate degree such as MSc, MBA or PGD in a relevant discipline will be an advantage .
-
Above 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in management designations.
