The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a med spa with a proven history of retail sales and knowledge of services we provide. Position Overview:
The Medical Aesthetician is responsible for performing advanced skincare treatments in a medical spa setting. This includes a variety of facial treatments, body contouring, laser procedures, and other specialized services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical aesthetics, a passion for skincare, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client care. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique skincare needs and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of advanced aesthetic treatments, including but not limited to facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser hair removal, body contouring, and IPL treatments.
• Conduct thorough skin assessments and provide tailored recommendations for skincare treatments and products.
• Ensure all treatments are performed safely, effectively, and with high attention to detail.
• Educate clients on proper skincare routines, aftercare, and the benefits of various treatments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in the aesthetic industry to provide the best care possible.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized workspaces and treatment areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the medical team to assess clients’ needs and suggest appropriate treatments, ensuring seamless care.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Promote spa services, memberships, and retail products to clients to enhance their skincare results and overall experience.
• Maintain accurate client records, including treatment history, notes, and any allergies or medical conditions.
• Follow all operational and safety protocols, including HIPAA compliance and confidentiality requirements.
• Assist with the management of supplies and inventory to ensure efficient treatment operations.

Qualifications:

• Valid esthetician or cosmetology license in the state of New Jersey (required).
• Certification in medical aesthetics or advanced aesthetic treatments (preferred).
• Prior experience in a medical spa or clinical setting performing aesthetic treatments (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, skincare treatments, and products.
• Familiarity with medical-grade skincare technologies, including lasers and other devices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple clients and treatments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service.
• Knowledge of and adherence to health and safety standards, including sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
