Medical Assistant/ Medical Scribe

Most medical assistant positions have you rooming patients and taking vitals. Here, you will be in the room with the physician scribing, assisting with procedures, running diagnostics, and actually learning from doctors who want to teach.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Work directly patients including gather history.
• Presenting to physicians their patient work ups and learning from physicians by scribing in real-time
• Assist with in-office ophthalmology procedures like injections and lasers
• Opportunity to shadow our physicians in the operating room
• Opportunity to participate in clinical research. Several of previous MAs have published in peer reviewed journals and been sponsored to specialty meetings for poster presentations
• Operate diagnostic equipment including visual fields, OCT imaging, tonometry, and more
• Keep the clinic running smoothly: room prep and patient flow
• Support scheduling and insurance verification when needed

• Competitive pay commensurate with experience and certification
• Specialty clinic hours — no nights, no weekends

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
