Medical Assistant/Medical Scribe

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring that patient records are complete and up-to-date, allowing for high-quality patient care. A strong understanding of medical terminology, and various medical specialties such as geriatrics, emergency medicine, and internal medicine is highly beneficial.

Duties

• Accurately document patient histories, examinations, and treatment plans during medical visits.
• Assist healthcare providers in managing electronic health records (EHR) by entering data in real-time.
• Ensure all documentation complies with legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate communication between patients and providers.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
• Support the practice workflow by performing administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, and EHR systems.
• Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

In addition to above responsibilities, medical phone desk receptionist and appointment phone desk coverage needed as well. Must be pleasant and cordial on the phone, appointment desk experience preferred but not required. Salaries are negotiable.
