Company Overview: Swan Medical is a highly regarded private practice specializing in Intimate Wellness, Female Pelvic Medicine, and Medical Aesthetics. Position Overview:Swan Medical is hiring for the position of a full-time medical scribe with cross-training for front and back-office medical assisting to work at both our locations in Los Gatos and Danville, CA. Anticipated start date for this position is June 2025. Because of the steep learning curve and time necessary to develop competence in this position, this is NOT ideal for a summer position.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers during patient appointments by accurately documenting encounter details in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), transcribing orders for laboratory tests, radiology procedures, and medications. You will also be responsible for identifying and correcting any errors or inconsistencies in medical documentation.
• Support clinical staff by preparing examination rooms for patients, performing phlebotomy, measuring vital signs, and assisting with various medical procedures.
• Maintain patient records meticulously and ensure timely follow-up on pending laboratory results and diagnostic tests.
• Manage patient communications efficiently through voicemails, emails, faxes, and our patient portal.
• Perform back-office tasks, including preparing and cleaning examination rooms, restocking supplies, and managing and ordering medical inventory.
• Receive cross-training in both front and back-office responsibilities, such as scheduling appointments, preparing patient charts, managing patient check-in and check-out processes, handling medical records, ordering medications, and verifying lab requests.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication between clinical staff and patients, prioritizing urgent matters as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in women’s health and anti-aging.
• Scribe experience preferred but not required.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
• Full-time, 40 hours per week

• Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
