At Advanced Pain Centers Of Alaska we are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and ensuring timely reimbursement.

Duties:

- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors

- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies

- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe

- Utilize medical coding to ensure compliance with federal regulations

- Process payments from insurance companies and patients

- Maintain patient billing records and respond to billing inquiries

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in medical billing, coding, and terminology

- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems

- Experience with medical collections and office procedures

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
