Medical Biller

This is an in office position and is not a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced Medical Biller to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of insurance billing, claims processing, and payment posting. This position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently to follow up on claims and ensure timely reimbursement for our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

• Submit and track insurance claims
• Verify patient insurance eligibility
• Post insurance and patient payments
• Follow up on denied or unpaid claims
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status
• Answer patient and provider billing questions as needed

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of medical billing experience
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Experience with EHR/EMR or medical billing software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred but not required:

• Experience with Primary Care insurance billing
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
• Medical billing certification (CPB or similar)

Pay: $25 – $33 per hour (based on experience)
