MEDICAL BILLER / ACCTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST (2+ YEAR'S EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

Medical billing company in Commack, NY established for 20 years is seeking a Medical Biller / AR Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years experience in the medical billing field including charge entry, benefit verification, pre-certification, denial and account receivable management. Proficient knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid. Excellent administrative, communication and organizational skills are a must! Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. We are a growing company and looking to bring on talented people to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Correspond with Clients Daily
• Heavy Insurance AR Followup & Denial Management
• Proficient with Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial Insurances
• Must be proficient with Insurance Websites
• Experience with Precertification
• Preparation of Spreadsheets and Reporting
• Assist patients with billing inquiries
• Bilingual is a plus but not required
