Job Title: Medical Biller / Billing Executive

Atlantis Tech is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Billing Executive to join our growing healthcare operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end medical billing cycle with a strong focus on accuracy, timely claim submission, denial handling, and maintaining compliance with US healthcare regulations. Candidates with experience in Therapy Services (PT/OT/ST) and Vision Care billing will be given preference.

What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for someone who can efficiently handle billing workflows for our US-based clients. This role involves charge entry, claim processing, payment posting, AR follow-up, and maintaining accurate and well-documented billing records.

Candidates with hands-on experience across the complete Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process will be given strong preference. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in the medical billing and revenue cycle management industry, you’ll be a great fit for this role. (Multiple Positions)

Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete billing process including charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, and AR follow-up.
• Review and verify patient demographics, insurance information, and billing data for accuracy.
• Handle billing for Therapy Services and Vision Care specialties, ensuring correct CPT/ICD usage and payer guidelines.
• Submit claims electronically and follow up promptly on unpaid or denied claims.
• Accurately post insurance and patient payments and reconcile accounts.
• Resolve claim rejections, denials, underpayments, and discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Communicate professionally with insurance companies and clients to resolve billing-related concerns.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer-specific requirements.
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and accuracy targets.
• Support the billing team and team lead with operational tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in US medical billing or revenue cycle management (RCM).
• Strong understanding of EOBs, CPT/ICD coding, claim submission processes, and denial management.
• Experience in Therapy Services and Vision Care billing is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with billing software such as Kareo, AdvancedMD, DrChrono, or Athena is a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (preferred).
