Medical Billing Specialist

Foothills Billing Solutions is a growing medical billing company that supports busy mental health providers. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Mental Health Billing Specialist to join our in-office team full-time.

What You’ll Do:

• Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility
• Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
• Resolve unpaid or denied claims
• Post insurance payments, patient payments, and adjustments
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim issues
• Respond to client and team emails in a timely, professional manner
• Process patient payments
• Assist with other administrative and computer-based tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Recent medical billing experience (required)
• Strong understanding of insurance claims, EOBs, and denial management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
