Medical Billing Supervisor

Billing Supervisor needed for a large, busy surgical practice who performs supervisory and administrative work involving billing and collections. He/She will be responsible for insuring claims are submitted timely and properly, helping staff with denials and appeals, reviewing patient/insurance refunds and adjustments as well as monitoring and controlling account aging. He/she will directly manage approximately 15 employees while overseeing all aspects of billing and the daily operations of the department. Candidate must have a minimum of five years billing experience and a minimum of two years as a department manager and have a strong working knowledge of all billing processes and procedures. Ideal candidate will be able to problem solve and have a great attention to detail and make recommendations for process improvements. Candidate must have excellent customer service skills, be solution oriented and can manage a team of employees. Ideal candidate will have EMR experience, familiar with Athena is preferred. Mon-Fri. Pay: $62,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
