Medical Billing Team Lead

Location: Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi (Preference for residents of Bahria, DHA, or nearby areas)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end medical billing process using the company’s EHR and billing software.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims, follow-ups on rejections/denials, and resolution of billing discrepancies.
• Lead, mentor, and train the billing team on best practices, regulatory compliance, and software utilization.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to provide feedback on billing workflow improvements within the EHR platform.
• Monitor and report on key billing metrics, including claim turnaround times, denial rates, and revenue performance.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CPT, ICD-10, and payer-specific billing regulations.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex billing issues, audits, and internal inquiries.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for billing workflows.
• Participate in testing and implementation of new billing features, updates, or EHR system enhancements.

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of medical billing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of EHR systems, medical coding (CPT, ICD-10), and billing workflows.
• Hands-on experience with claim submissions, denials management, and payer communications.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle management software and healthcare billing regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret billing reports and drive process improvements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SaaS-based EHR systems preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Timings

• 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM (Summer)
• 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM (Winters)
