Medical Cannabis & Wellness Provider - West Bountiful

Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Part-Time | WholesomeCo Pharmacy

Empathetix Wellness is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to serve as our consistent, dedicated provider at our WholesomeCo partner location. This is an in-person, part-time role with a set weekly schedule.

Schedule:
Wednesday & Thursday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

What You'll Do

Medical Cannabis (Primary Focus)

• Evaluate patients for medical cannabis eligibility and provide compliant recommendations
• Educate patients on safe and effective use
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation

Wellness Conversion

• Introduce cannabis patients to Empathetix wellness services including weight loss, hormone therapy, ketamine, and peptides
• Conduct wellness intake consultations and gather patient history, and goals for provider review
• Administer in-clinic treatments such as B12 injections
• Transition patients to appropriate wellness providers for ongoing care

What We're Looking For

• Active, unrestricted NP license in Utah
• Eligible for or currently holding Utah QMP certification
• Comfortable performing injections or willing to learn quickly
• Strong patient communication and education skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment
• Confidence guiding patients through care options

Preferred:

• Experience with medical cannabis evaluations
• Background in wellness services (GLP-1, hormones, ketamine, peptides)
• Experience reviewing labs and conducting consultations

Required Licenses & Certifications:

• Active NP license (required)
• DEA License (required)
• RMP certification or ability to obtain
• Utah Controlled Substance License

Compensation

Starting at $57/hour. Reviewed based on performance, patient experience, and contribution to clinic operations - with opportunities for growth as you build in the role.
