Medical equipment maintenance technician

Job Description:
The Medical Equipment Maintenance Technician at Norphamed is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing dental and medical equipment supplied by the company to clinics, medical centers, and hospitals. The role focuses on ensuring optimal device performance, diagnosing technical faults, and providing efficient and timely solutions while adhering to safety and quality standards. The technician also ensures customer satisfaction through continuous technical support and after-sales services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and test dental and medical equipment at customer sites.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance according to approved schedules.
• Diagnose technical issues and carry out repairs efficiently and promptly.
• Respond to on-site service calls and provide necessary technical support.
• Train medical staff on the proper and safe use of equipment when required.
• Document maintenance activities and prepare periodic technical reports.
• Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Comply with safety procedures and quality standards.
• Technically represent the company at medical exhibitions or events when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in medical equipment maintenance (dental equipment experience is preferred).
• Valid driving license (mandatory).
• Proficiency in English (mandatory).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel between customer locations.
• Good communication skills and professional customer handling.
• Basic computer skills and ability to prepare technical reports.
