Advocate Radiation Oncology is a physician owned private practice in Florida with various locations.

Advocate Radiation Oncology is looking for a Front Desk to join our medical office team in Port Charlotte, FL.

As a Front Desk, you will be responsible for the customer experience. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping people.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong phone skills and customer service experience.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized with a high degree of accuracy.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA laws required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and collecting copays and patient payments.
• Documenting patient information using our EMR system.
• Communicating with patients via phone, email, and in-person regarding their visit with our doctor and any issues that need to be addressed first before making any decisions about their condition or treatment options.
• Reviewing patient histories, charts, and discussing concerns with patients and directing inquiries to the appropriate channel.
• Collecting copays and other payments from patients during their visit with our doctor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
